Behind the Vanity

I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to start Beauty By Rachael.

My love for makeup stemmed from a young age.  I have always been so intrigued by how different each face is and what feature is best to accent to simply enhance what people naturally bring to the table.    There have been many Sunday afternoons I'd find myself completely lost in time in the makeup section of my favorite beauty stores.  I would emerge with my arms covered in dozens of swatches of the latest products and smelling delightful, but a little strong from all the mixed scents!  I love every minute of it.

Now, in my mid twenties; beauty to me is far beyond the expensive elixirs and highly anticipated launches. Beauty is a feeling.  It's that simple nod you give yourself before a night out on the town while doing your last mirror check, it's finding the dress that fits juuust right, it's going to bed with a freshly washed face.     

My passion is to have all of my clients feel like "them" under the extra layers of gorgeous product, hand picked by me.  My specialty is to enhance the features of your natural face to exude your true beauty.  I am beyond excited to give you a view behind my vanity through social media posts and hands on artistry.
