1) Your face.. but better.
In my experience as a consumer and MUA, this is one of the most unique things about the Airburshing technique. Typically, brides on their wedding day still want to look and feel like them walking down the aisle. Especially for more natural brides, that on a regular day may wear very little make up. But the one thing all wedding parties have in common is that they want to feel and look special.. to really represent the occasion. One layer of Airbrushing can simply put a veil over your skin, some freckles will still be there, maybe that scar from falling off your bike when you were 8 will show. The first layer puts this light cover over the skin to start the blurring process of skin imperfections. It truly is the perfect mix of your skin and a little enhancement to create this beautiful base for the rest of the make up application.
2) Airbrushing is SO versatile!
Due to the layering technique it is perfect for anyone. That is also a key in wedding parties (clients in general), some bridesmaids wake up and take hours to have a full face every morning, others may use some powder and mascara and roll with it! Airbrushing is a one size fits all and here is why; Adding more layers adds more coverage. Take me for example, I am a full coverage kinda gal. My skin has sun spots, texture and random zits on any given day. This is one area I have not been blessed in. I need at least 3 layers of airbrushing to feel comfortable and to see the coverage I desire. But as I have said before some people stop at 1! Not everyone sees beauty as the same thing, this technique is completely customizable for the clients ideal look and comfort level. Airbrushing is versatile in shade ranges as well. The applicator allows for product shades to be mixed like a beauty potion to find the perfect match for all skin tones!
3) It feels like there is nothing there.
Airbrushing is the lightest base I have used on my face. Ever. I have used close to a hundred of liquid foundations with different coverage levels and this is the one I can truly say "you can't even feel it." I think that is due to light weight but impactful formula & the airbrushing equipment/technique. This is another way brides feel like "them" on their day, no heavy foreign make up weighing you down.
4) Its Refreshing!
The airbrushing technique feels like a spa treatment to some. The application feels like a light sprits of water to your bare skin. When I am applying it I compare it to walking in the veggie section of the grocery store and the broccoli, lettuce and peppers are getting that light water sprits!! It is very similar to feeling and the pace that product comes out of the applicator.
5) It Lasts!
This is another top reason why people have been obsessed with it for weddings. It lasts from the time it is applied, until you head back to the bedroom with your new husband. It was made to out stand the laughter, tears and dance sweat of the incredible day! There may be some small touch ups throughout the evening (pending per person), but it will hang with you with all your endeavors!
6) Its a different experience!
The wedding or other event planned is an occasion. Something that is extra special that does not happen everyday. So why not feel like that?! Why not look like that?! Airbrushing is a way to experience a different technique to elevate your normal beauty routine. Give yourself and your girls something to remember!
